HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) - Researchers from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies are looking into the impacts spraying for ticks has on other wildlife.

The two-year study of nearly 200 properties indicates that spraying for ticks -- including with essential oils -- resulted in a five to 30 percent reduction in pollinators.

In this week’s “Wildlife Watch,” Ike Bendavid spoke with center staff as well as a local spraying company.
