2 arrested after child in stroller was transported in back of pickup truck, authorities say

MCGRAW, N.Y. (WBNG/Gray News) – Two people in New York state are accused of driving a pickup truck with a child in a stroller in the truck’s bed.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report on Thursday about the incident that happened at McGraw Elementary School the day prior.
Investigators found that Lisa E. Mabry, 32, and Grady L. Mabry, 61, drove out of the school parking lot and into the roadway with a young child who was in a stroller, unsecured, in the bed of a pickup truck.
Both adults were arrested for endangering the welfare of a child.
They were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
