Vinny Mutone was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where he attended Stony Brook University’s accredited School of Journalism and Communication. There, he majored in Journalism with a concentration in broadcast, while minoring in digital arts.
During his time in college, Vinny was the baseline camera operator for men's and women's basketball games, as well as the sideline camera operator for football games. Vinny spent most of his free time on campus helping with the athletics department, as he wanted to combine his passion for broadcast journalism and his love of sports.
Vinny joined TV20 in April of 2023 as an Associate Producer and now works as a photojournalist and producer
